What's on Series 3
Episode 1: We spend a day with the Bay of Plenty's trucking Legend Stan Williamson. At over 80 Stan still drives his restored Leyland Scammell as well as still driving professionally on a weekly basis.
Episode 2: We head out on the farm with Alex Spinks and his original OLB Bedford and pick up some hay as they always have with the old girl.
Episode 3 & 4 We join Barry Caulfield at his truck shed in Whakatane and enjoy the reunion for the most famous truck in New Zealand, the Kenworth they call The Concord with some of the men who owned it or had something to do with it over its lifetime. We talk to some of the owners, and in particular Mike Lambert who bought it in 1973.
Episodes 5: We've found probably the only on the road WFK Cabover Austin in the country. We talk to its owner Kat who has it as her mobile home. We take the old Austin for a drive and have a chat about it.
Episode 6: We head to the deep south and chat to Jim Pratt and his days driving the 1942 KS International effectionately known as Number 3. We also chat to John King from DT KIng who owns the newly restored truck.
